A MISER
SUR EBAY-MOTORS USA
|
- Keep in mind that the
only other Corsair on Ebay was four years older and
double the miles and had an OPENING bid of 20,500 and
would have cost lots more!! This is not a distress sale,
it is a beautiful car offered by a Scottsdale collector
and it will be sold cheap considering it would cost close
to 50,000 to get a new one and for that matter, compare
it to some of the custom Zimmer's or Clenet's available
today at WELL over that! It's seldom these days that we
see a vehicle of timeless elegance such as this beautiful
Corsair. When grand traditions of the past and technology
of the present are combined, you get a truly unique and
dependable car. The car has not been 'pieced together' by
an amateur in their garage,
- The Roaring 20's
Motor Car Company of San Diego California has
professionally crafted this magnificent automoblie. It
has been inspected and issued a VIN# by the state of CA
and passed all of their strict requirements to be
roadworthy. This 1996 constructed Corsair has just over
6700 original miles and is built on a custom frame with a
Lincoln 351 V8 engine and an automatic transmission. With
a curb weight of just 3850 lbs, this powertrain setup is
more than enough even though the car has a much heavier
look. The classic metallic blue and silver finish is a
very tasteful look on such a car and is in excellent
condition. There is a small fiberglass blemish in the
rear of the car below the fuel cap but other than that,
no scratches, cracks or any noticeable defects in the
finish. The retractable top is impeccable, it's easy to
use and comes with a "parade-boot" cover to finish the
look of the car when the top is down. Glass looks good,
all chrome is nice, tires are perfect and the chromed
tru-spoke alloy wheels are beautiful. The car has been
serviced, all functions work properly, A/C blows cold,
radio works, wipers, gauges, etc. are all in good working
order. The interior is spotless and very comfortable, all
wood trim is gorgeous and all trim looks very nice. You
cannot even build this car for anywhere close to my low
reserve on the car. Turn-key models such as this cost in
excess of $$47,000!!
