  • Description : When it comes to no frills muscle, its tough to beat an all-time great, the Plymouth Road Runner. Here is an extremely well done example with a 383 under the hood and backed by a 4-speed transmission. This eye-catching car has just undergone an extensive restoration, with nearly every nut and bolt either having been replaced or refurbished. The excellent body work was refinished in Vitamin C Orange and is contrasted nicely with a black vinyl interior. The attractive exterior is adorned with minimal brightwork, re-chromed bumpers, black hood trim and Magnum wheels. The well done interior is wonderfully spartan with its uncomplicated dash design, 3-spoke steering wheel and AM radio. The seats have been upgraded with buckets from a Super Bee, which provide an appropriate and subtle style upgrade. The matching numbers 383, which is factory rated at 335hp, has less than 2,000 miles since being rebuilt, and the engine bay has been attractively redone to match the high quality of the rest of the car. The trunk and undercarriage have also been refinished to a high quality that will make its new owner proud. Also included are power front disc brakes and power steering, along with upgraded sway bars and exhaust headers. Other items replaced during restoration include the "beep beep" horn, fuel tank, rubber seals, spare tire and jack, carpeting, wheels and air cleaner.
