            MANUALSummary
: Built in 2005 by Midwest Classics in Toledo, Ohio.
Factory Five Kit using all new Ford parts including a
            stroked 392cid/475hp engine.Description
: The body, frame, aluminum panels and other
miscellaneous parts that come with this kit were produced
by Factory Five Racing out of Massachusetts. The kit
features a 4" round tube frame and a very well
constructed fiberglass body. The engine is from Ford
Motorsports which is a 351-based engine with a sportsman
block, aluminum Z heads and is stroked to produce
392cid/475hp. Sitting on top of the engine is an EFI
Weber Carb look-a-like system produced by Imagine
Injection out of Arizona and is completely computer
controlled. The transmission is a Tremec R58W 5-Speed
with a Centerforce clutch assembly. The rear end is an
8.8" Ford with a 3.55 gear ratio and a shortened housing
to accommodate the deep dish rear wheels. To finish off
the rear, Moser 28-spline hardened rear axles were added
to handle the power. The rear suspension is a 3-bar setup
for better handling and the front suspension has tubular
upper and lower control arms. The car was professionally
built by Midwest Customs and Classics in Toledo, Ohio.
The paint is Midnight Blue metallic with Arctic White
stripes. The rear spoiler was molded into the body for a
smoother look and the license plate was frenched in. The
interior has carpet throughout with custom door panels
made by Midwest Customs and the dash features a full line
of Autometer gauges. To finish off the interior, 5-point
Simpson harnesses were installed to keep the driver and
passenger strapped in their seat. The wheels on the car
are a Halibrand look-a-like by Team III Wheels. The
braking system is based off of the 2003 Mustang Cobra
which features 13" front and 11" rear disc brakes with
hydro-boost. Along with a modern style braking system,
this car also has power steering and air conditioning to
add to the comforts of driving. |
