  • Vehicle Description : 1971 Boss 351 Mustang-one of 1806 made. This is an overall exceptional condition, low mileage FordMuscle Car.This car is from my personal collection, I own it, the title is in my name. I am not selling this for someone else and I am not a dealer. I am an avid Mustang fan and collector. I am the 3rd owner of this 54,000 original mile Boss. The car was stored in a California garage for nearly 10 years by it's previous owner. The car was well maintained and put back in service in 2000. I hate to part with this very well kept muscle car but I must make time and space for my other Mustangs.
  • This is a very original and nicely optioned Boss car including the following:

  • Vehicle Condition : The car is truely all original with a few minor exceptions. This is not a full blown concourse show car but a nicely preserved, very clean car that can be driven or shown.
    The motor was rebuilt at 36,000 miles and is now .30 over. All original block, heads, mechanical lifters, cam, crank, pan, distributor, starter, plug wires, etc. Car has a very rare D1-ZZ Ford Holley and Ford D1-ZZ aluminum intake non spreadbore set up. They are from the old power parts program and were purchased NOS and installed when the motor was rebuilt. The original spreadbore carb and intake are of course available and coming with the car. The motor and engine compartment are correctly detailed. All of the ram air stuff is there and correct. The block and some of the accesories could use a little paint. Has a quarter size leak at times when it sits, likely a pan gasket. The rev limiter is missing.
    Trans is the correct 4sp toploader and is perfect and original with correct shifer and linkage. Clutch replaced when motor done, flywheel resurfaced, new TO bearing. 9" Posi with 3.91, 31 Spline, N case is perfect, 0 noise. Serviced when motor trans were done. Interior -All original showing some where but untouched and nice.Lenses perfect. Clock just rebuilt, new heater core, dash lights. Everything works.
  • Body and paint- One repaint mid 90's. Great driver quality paint. 100 % original body panels, never wrecked. The car looks amazing and gets more than it's share of praise. The floor pans and the frame rails as well as the undercarriage are flawless but not detailed. Trunk -Small spare, correct jack and mat, fold down and latches. No spare tire bottle. Two Speaker holes were cut in trunk, size of grapefruits, cannot see from inside of car. Brakes, Steering and Suspension-In a word-Perfect. The car drives and handles like a low mileage car should. Tight, no rattles, secure on the road. Great power and fun to drive.
