1956 Oldsmobile Super 88 Holiday Coupe VEHICLE DESCRIPTION AND CONDITION Professionally restored. The paint job with concourse quality is in the amazing two-tone original colors, Nordic Blue and Lime Green. Everything works perfectly. The engine has not been touched for it only has 54,241 miles. It runs strong. Bought from the original owner who always kept it in a covered garage. FACTORY EQUIPMENT -Continental kit -Deluxe spinner wheel covers -Custom upholstery seats -Automatic transmission -Power breaks -Power steering -Super deluxe seeking radio -Back up lights -Front courtesy lights -Rear speaker -Electric antenna (missing, currently has a manual one) -Electric clock- MARKET VALUE This car in condition number 1 appears in ?Old Cars Price Guide? (December 2002 issue) in $30,000 plus at least $1,500 more for the Continental Kit. On my personal judgment what this car needs to reach condition number 1 : -Front bumper has a little dent -Some of the chrome does not have a ?mirror finish? since I chose to leave it original -A side molding has been repaired, it needs to be replaced or restored to be perfect -Parts of the upholstery have been restored not using original material -Wheel covers have really small scratches -Undercarriage needs detailing -Courtesy lamps under the dashboard have not been connected -The engine has been professionally painted in a lighter shade of green than the original green that came with Oldsmobile engines. -The tires on the car are original Firestone from the era but black, not white wall. Because this set of tires is in such an amazing condition, I chose not to replace them and only use ?Lucas? white sides which are currently in bad shape. HIGHLIGHTS My car is a multiple First Place Winner in its class in ?Concourse D´Elegance? in El Salvador.
