- 1970 Toronado from
Museum 44,800 miles
- Vehicle Description :
This vehicle has spent over 25 years of its life in an
Automobile Museum. It is Jade green (almost
Black) with a two tone green vinyl and nylon
interior. It has power everything including seats,
windows and doors. It is an Automatic, FWD,
with a 455 Rocket engine, vinyl roof, beautiful original
paint, original wheels and tires .......... actually
original everything. When I purchased the vehicle
from the closed down Museum, I took it to the local GM
dealer and asked them to go through the vehicle from
bumper to bumper. The total bill was $520 and the
only parts they had to replace were rubber bushings and
the two front rubber 'boots'. Everything else
was immaculate. They had never seen a vehicle like
this in this condition. The car was trailed
home and all fluids were changed prior to use. This
car purrs and has power that is unbelievable. There
is no rust on this car with the exception of a small
amount of suface rust on the bottom of the rear bumper.
- : Vehicle Condition :
As close to new as you can get for a non restored
vehicle. The things that are wrong with it are as
follows: --- A tear in the nylon potion of
the driver's seat in the upper back rest caused by sun
rot/aging fabric and not wear. The vinyl is great,
it is just the nylon inset piece. --- A wear spot/hole in
the carpet caused by the use of high heels when driving.
--- a few paint chips and a small scrape( no body work
needed) near the front bumper (I did it
......Ahggrrrr).
