The Studebaker President Speedster was the top of the
line in 1955 for Studebaker. Many of the items available
as options for other models were standard on the
Speedster. Additional items were added that were unique
to the Speedster. Some of the items included on this car:

paint scheme The Speedster was produced for only one year
with a short production of only 2,215 cars produced. Of
these cars it is estimated that only a few hundred still
exist. Now is your chance to get one of these rare autos
at a modest cost. This car was restored by the previous
owner and was a California car until I purchased it 3
years ago. It has been garaged the entire time since I
have owned it. The restoration is now about 13 years old.
The car was originally produced in the South Bend,
Indiana plant. The original colors were the Hialeah green
/ Sun valley yellow (lemon & lime) combination. The
photos show the current colors of red/white. The cars
interior is correctly restored in white diamond stitched
leather seat upholstry and matching vinyl door panels.
The car has 97,804 original miles. The car was originally
shipped to Texas and later ended up in California,
therfore it has no rust that I have found. The underside
is very clean. I had the gas tank removed, emptied,
cleaned and lined to remove deposits and eliminate the
possibility of rust forming. I have enjoyed having this
car but have recently purchased another speedster that I
plan on restoring myself and only have room for one
collector car. As mentioned, this car was restored 13
years ago. This is not a show car nor is it being
represented as perfect. The car is being sold "as is" and
any specific questions must be resolved prior to bidding
if you are unsure. I have posted a few pictures here, but
