- Vehicle Description :
This rust-free 1948 Crosley (real) Pickup Truck used as a
service vehicle for my retro Shell Station has new
gauges, carpet, new seats, new glass all around, new
tires and a new battery. Radiator cleaned and in
excellent condition. All of the chrome has been
rechromed. The Pickup drives and runs very good.
Absolutely no rust. Excellent paint except for a few
small chips. Both front and rear Crosley emblems like
new. Missing passenger side windshield wiper blade. The
hoist is homemade out of PVC pipe but is reinforced with
steelpipe. The hoist can very easily be removed from the
Pickup by simply lifting it out. Absolutely no holes in
the Pickup to accommodate the hoist. The hoist and cable
operate very smoothly. The hoist has a light bar with
many lights and a chrome Federal six volt working siren.
None of the lights or siren are hooked up but can very
easily be activated. Comes with an "Old Timer" Nevada
license plates and a license plate topper with reflective
eye, but magnetic door handles not included. This Crosley
Pickup Tow Truck is always the most admired vehicle at
any parade. You won't find a better looking, better
running or better driving vehicle anywhere.
